The seven stages
- 01
First call
We get to know you: your name, contact details and the procedure you are considering. Existing tests and medical documents may be sent to us in advance for review.
- 02
Doctor's assessment
The institution assesses the tests. We translate and pass on every question.
- 03
Written plan
Institution, days in Baku, what is and isn't included, and a price range. You decide.
- 04
Arrival
Visa, airport pick-up, hotel and transfers — coordinated in advance.
- 05
Consultation and treatment
A Hebrew interpreter and our representative at your side. The doctor advises and recommends.
- 06
The day after
Visits, a nurse as the doctor instructs, and our representative fully available.
- 07
Return and follow-up
A translated summary, a transfer to the airport and a year of follow-up after you return.
Before you come
Visa and travel documents
We submit the electronic visa (e-visa) application for Azerbaijan for you.
Entry requirements and travel documents can change. It is the traveller's responsibility to check them with the competent authorities before booking. If anything is unclear, contact us and we will point you in the right direction.
Flights from Israel
The direct flight from Tel Aviv to Baku takes about three hours, and several airlines operate direct flights on the route.
We coordinate your arrival according to your flight details. The length of stay depends on the procedure and the doctor's instructions, and is set out in your written plan before you book a flight. The doctor advises and recommends.
Kosher food
The Chabad House in Baku holds Shabbat meals and provides kosher food for Jewish travellers.
If you keep kosher, let us know in advance and we will help you plan your meals during your stay.
The holy Shabbat
Our office observes Shabbat, yet a representative of ours is available to you at any time — and, where needed, a personal companion at your side.
Baku has active synagogues, and the Chabad House holds Shabbat meals. If you would like your treatment and flight dates planned around Shabbat, tell us in advance.
What to prepare
Any previous tests, X-rays and medical summaries you have, and a list of the medicines you take — so that the doctor can review them.
Your passport and travel documents as required for entry, and your flight details.
This is general information, not medical advice. The doctor advises and recommends.
